Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Develop and maintain project schedules using effective project scheduling tools. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to ensure compliance with design specifications. Manage project resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare progress reports for stakeholders detailing project status, timelines, and any potential risks or delays. Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity on-site. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or project management within the commercial and residential construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. 5 to 10 years experience in all aspects of Project Managing, Planning and Construction procedures. Knowledge in estimating software such as Xactimate is preferred. Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of project coordination. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
