0 New Haven, CT Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description Gym Manager The Gym Manager at Rock Spot Climbing is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the facility, as well as overseeing all managers, shift supervisors and floor staff. They are responsible for hiring, training and coaching a team of enthusiastic employees and developing a culture where customer service is a top priority. They are also responsible for training and encouraging a team that is sales focused and dedicated to meeting monthly sales goals. The gym manager works alongside the local management team under the supervision of the District Manager. Our team members are dynamic individuals who are on board with our Mission and Core Values, noted below. Roles and Responsibilities First Class Customer Service

• Perform all duties associated with running the gym, including opening/closing procedures, POS interactions and basic instruction. Quality Coaching
• Hire, train, and maintain a team of supervisors and floor staff with a focus on continuous growth and learning. Superior Sales
• Manage a team that strives to meet and exceed local sales goals by matching guests with the products we offer that best meet their needs. Data Driven Management
• Use various reports to analyze individual and team performance with an eye to consistent improvement. Facility Management
• Use organizational tools to schedule inspections, cleaning and maintenance tasks. Administrative Excellence
• Use multiple administrative tools to create weekly staff schedules, oversee accounts receivable, maintain register drawers and prepare weekly deposits.

Qualifications and Skills We are looking for a skilled manager with a commitment to the long term growth of their team members and their local community. Bachelor's Degree Previous management experience with employees Experience with employee scheduling Ability to supervise Ability to work nights/weekends Ability to enforce rules and regulations Ability to handle money Ability to communicate effectively with corporate management team Punctual and reliable Customer service experience Basic computer skills Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
