Serving communities across Connecticut since 1970, we provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment, including medication-assisted treatment, counseling, mental health services, primary care, and recovery support.

Job Summary:
Provide group and individual counseling and case management to patients receiving Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) through a comprehensive, recovery oriented and trauma informed treatment process. Clinicians will exercise independent clinical judgement and seek supervision as needed or required in patient care decision making
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinician provides group, individual counseling, and case management to patients through comprehensive recovery-oriented and trauma informed treatment planning process. The Clinician participates in regular treatment team, counselor, and staff meetings to review treatment plans and department reports to facilitate patient interventions, and agency initiatives. The Clinician meets weekly with the Clinical Supervisor and/or Program Director to review caseload, clinical supervision, and professional development. The Clinician demonstrates cultural and economic sensitivity. Works with research staff to coordinate patient referrals to research protocols. The Clinician maintains patient caseload as assigned and keeps appropriate and current all reports and records as required. Career Level Specific Job Functions, Duties (in addition to above): Clinician 1 The Clinician I participates in any training and supervision provided by the program and is actively pursuing licensure. Clinician 2 & Clinician 3 As a member of the clinical team, may complete intake evaluations to assess for the appropriate treatment modality and corresponding documentation including insurance authorizations to facilitate patient care. Provides supervision to clinical practicum students when assigned. Clinician 3 Expected to take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director and approved by the CEO.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must possess
BA/BS + MA/MS
in in relevant field. Career Level Specific Required Certification or License(s),
Experience:
Clinician I Must possess associate license as issued by the State of CT or Must be within prescribed period of completing supervised hours. Clinician II 2 years' experience in relevant program treating clients with substance use disorders preferred. Must possess license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) issued by the State of CT. Clinician III 3-5 years' experience in a relevant program treating clients with substance use disorders preferred. Open only to those individuals with an LPC, LCSW or LMFT license.
