Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential - Superintendent to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate multiple teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality homes on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for project management, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, driving project success through exceptional management and communication skills. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery. Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately. Supervise on-site construction activities, including crew management, safety standards, and quality control inspections. Assist in developing construction schedules using project management software; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. Oversee construction safety management practices in accordance with industry best practices. Conduct blueprint reading and interpret technical drawings to guide construction teams effectively. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, construction regulations, and quality standards. Use and maintain records and interaction in a project management software - JobTread. Qualifications Proven experience managing residential construction projects with a strong understanding of residential building processes. Demonstrated ability to supervise crews effectively while managing multiple subcontractors. Strong skills in blueprint reading, interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and construction schedules. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate teams and clients effectively. Familiarity with construction safety standards for residential projects. Experience with quality control procedures, and project scheduling coordination. Construction site experience with a focus on high-end residential home. Ability to operate relevant tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary. Pay:
