Job Title:
Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate teams effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Enforce safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections to maintain a hazard-free environment. Lead and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency. Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and financial goals. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns. Identify and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track. Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and compliance documentation. Essential Skills Proven track record as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of project management. Expertise in construction processes, materials, and safety protocols, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Strong analytical skills to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions. Familiarity with project management software and digital tools for scheduling and reporting. 7-10+ years of experience in high-end, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus. Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and take-offs. Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, and Sage. PMP certification is beneficial. Experience working on healthcare, manufacturing, and biopharma projects. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wilton, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
