This role focuses on managing the field team, scheduling, site-level reporting, and material logistics to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
PROJECT EXECUTION & FIELD MANAGEMENT
Coordinate and manage the L&L Field Team and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met. Conduct frequent site visits to monitor compliance with plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and safety protocols. Supervise projects from inception through completion to ensure product quality and problem-solve as issues arise. Create and maintain daily site logs and upload photo documentation to the company's construction software. Secure necessary trade, building, and dumpster permits as assigned. Oversee project close-out including preparation of punch lists, securing sign-offs, and final inspections.
SCHEDULING & PLANNING
Create and maintain project schedules and three-week forecasts to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Proactively manage and communicate deviations from the schedule to the internal team and subcontractors. Develop contingency plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
MATERIALS & VENDOR COORDINATION
Complete project take-offs and ensure all construction and FFE materials are ordered and delivered to the job site on time. Manage the field team's on-hand materials inventory to prevent project delays. Find and vet new vendors and subcontractors. Furnish updated hard copies of applicable construction documents to field personnel and subcontractors.
COMMUNICATION & PROFESSIONALISM
Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships among co-workers, partners, clients, and contractors. Participate in weekly project meetings and keep the Lead Project Manager informed of project status and issues.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. 3-5 years of work experience in residential construction or a highly related field. Ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise and see jobs through to the end. Proficiency in Apple and Google products is required. Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and confidence when dealing with a wide range of individuals. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted. Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
