General Manager - Production Encore Concrete Coatings | Florida About Us Encore Concrete Coatings is a growing residential and commercial concrete coatings company specializing in transforming garages, patios, pool decks, walkways, and other concrete surfaces. With more than 27 years of experience, Encore has built a strong reputation for quality installations and exceptional customer service. As we continue expanding our operations into Florida, we're looking for an experienced leader to take ownership of our Florida production operation and help build the team, systems, and processes necessary to support our growth in the market. Position Overview The General Manager - Production will be responsible for the overall performance and continued development of Encore's Florida production operation. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing production leadership, installation teams, scheduling, quality control, labor efficiency, materials, equipment, and overall operational performance. We're looking for a hands-on operational leader who can build structure, develop employees, solve problems, and hold teams accountable while helping scale a growing market. This position will have significant responsibility and autonomy. The General Manager will work closely with company leadership while taking ownership of ensuring our Florida production operation runs safely, efficiently, profitably, and at the quality standard our customers expect. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the overall performance and day-to-day operation of Florida production department Lead, manage and develop production supervisors, crew leads, installers, and other production personnel Build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, quality and performance Establish clear expectations and hold production leadership and team members accountable for results Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to company quality standards Monitor KPIs and production metrics to optimize performance Conduct leadership and production meetings to review performance, communicate expectations, and address operational issues Hold team members accountable to performance and company standards Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery Identify staffing needs and work with recruiting and company leadership to maintain appropriate production capacity as the Florida market grows Identify and develop future supervisors, crew leads, and production leaders What We're Looking For We're looking fora n experienced operational leader who wants the opportunity to take ownership of a growing market. The right person will be comforatable building teams, creating structure, solving problems quickly, making difficult decisions when necessary, and holding themselves and other accountable for results. This isnt a position for someone who wants to simply maintain an exisitng operation. We want someone who sees the opportunity in helping build and scale a successful Florida production team. This position requires someone who can effectively balance people, processes, quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability Significant leadership experience in production, operations, construction, home improvement, manufacturing, or similar environment Previous experience managing managers, supervisors, or multiple teams strongly preferred Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, productivity, and operational efficiency Experience developing and tracking KPIs and performance metrics Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to identify inefficient processes and implement practical solutions Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable leading meetings, coaching employees, and having difficult accountability conversations Valid driver's license Experience in construction, flooring, home improvement, field services, or similar operations strongly preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred What We Offer Competitive salary starting Day 1 Performance-based bonuses tied to production success Health insurance reimbursement benefits 401(k) plan with company matching and profit sharing Paid holidays and PTO (starting after 90 days) Significant opportunity for advancement as the company continues to expand Opportunity to directly influence the team, systems, and strategy behind Encore's Florida operation Why Join Encore?
