Regionally, the firm has earned numerous accolades as Builder of the Year in Lee and Collier counties. We are currently seeking Custom Home Construction Superintendents. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years experience with homes $4 million+ Must be organized and have a proven track record. The Superintendent will be responsible for supervising construction of homes, from start to completion, ensuring homes are completed on time, within budget and meet the company's quality standards. Specific Duties Oversee construction on each assigned home each day communicating the schedule to subcontractors and vendors. Check all homes in production to verify completed scheduled work by the subcontractors to ensure that the correct materials are being properly installed, building codes and company quality standards are being met or exceeded and home is on or ahead of schedule. Report to Builder daily, report on assigned tasks and pick up daily assignments Keep all paperwork and files neat and well organized. Process all paperwork in a timely manner. Fill out forms and utilize them precisely as they were designed. Essential Job Functions Ability to deliver homes 100% complete, clean, free of defects, on time, within budget, by the RTC Date Ability to understand and deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction Manage starts, construction, and closeout to ensure delivery obligations are met Walk homes daily to ensure schedule adherence, progression, and quality of vendor workmanship Know and understand standard and custom features and options Ability to hold trade partners accountable and make them perform as required Conduct meetings with homeowners, trade partners, and municipal inspectors as necessary Ensure thorough homeowner orientations are completed and that all punch items are complete prior to closing Manage building scheduling process utilizing company software Approve vendor payables via electronic process Assist with warranty requests as necessary Ensure all construction and warranty (our portion) are completed to company standards Strictly maintain OSHA standards for all work areas Uphold clean, organized, safe, professionally-maintained jobsites and community Timely and accurate follow through Maintain storm water pollution controls and promptly address all violations Monitor extras and ensure that timely payments are only made for true extras, not for contracted work or punch-out, and back-charge if appropriate Keep notes and maintain up-to-date files and paperwork Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external customers We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits!
