Duties Operate heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, and equipment to perform excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with equipment safety procedures. Assist with construction utility work by accurately locating underground utilities using utility locating techniques to prevent damage during excavation. Support site development activities by preparing the site, managing materials, and coordinating with other team members for efficient workflow. Follow federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on-site. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to execute construction plans, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, or similar machinery in a construction environment.
