DS Jordan Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead retail and restaurant projects in West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade. We are looking for a field leader who knows how to run a fast-paced commercial job, coordinate trades, protect the schedule and deliver a clean, high-quality turnover. This is not an entry-level superintendent role. Candidates must bring at least five years of direct retail and restaurant construction experience and be comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day field execution. What You Will Own Jobsite leadership and subcontractor coordination Project schedule and daily sequencing Quality control, punch and closeout Inspections, deliveries and site logistics Daily reporting (via Procore) and communication with the Project Manager Safe, clean and professional jobsite standards Client-facing field communication when needed What We Are Looking For 5+ years as a construction superintendent or comparable field leader 5+ years building or renovating retail stores and restaurants Strong tenant-improvement, remodel, rollout and/or ground-up experience Ability to read plans and proactively solve field issues Strong scheduling and subcontractor-management skills Ability to travel throughout Florida Professional, accountable and solutions-oriented leadership style Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Per diem when traveling Paid time off (PTO) To Apply Submit a resume that clearly identifies the retail and restaurant projects you have personally supervised, including brands/project types, location, project value when available, and whether the work was ground-up, TI/build-out, remodel or refresh.
