Job Description
As a Construction Superintendent , you will provide overall on-site management and coordination of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents, project budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure the project is completed in accordance with contract documents, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, architects/engineers (A/E), subcontractors, vendors, and other contractors. Plan, coordinate, and supervise field operations to maintain high standards of quality and workmanship. Manage subcontractor installation procedures and ensure materials are installed in accordance with manufacturers' printed requirements and project specifications. Coordinate and ensure the timely delivery of direct-purchase materials to the job site. Schedule and manage field operations to maintain adherence to critical-path activities and overall project milestones. Supervise laborers and subcontractors as required by the project and contract documents. Direct field activities with a thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Assist Project Management with the development and implementation of project procedures, working documents, standards, and processes. Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, work rules, and contract documents. Maintain accurate daily documentation of construction activities, site conditions, progress, and safety violations. Promote and maintain a safe work environment while ensuring craft productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and successful project performance. Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by the Project Manager. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent . Strong overall knowledge and hands-on experience in construction, with the ability to use tools and perform various construction tasks as needed. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and activities while maintaining project schedules and quality standards. Procore experience is a plus. Reliable vehicle required.
