Assistant SuperintendentSalary:

$90,000 - $110,000 Base

+ Vehicle Allowance

+ Bonus

+ Full BenefitsAn established and growing Florida-based builder/developer is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join its construction team. This organization specializes in the development and construction of multifamily and senior living communities throughout Florida, with a particularly strong presence along the Gulf Coast. ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily on-site supervision of subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.



Support project scheduling efforts to ensure milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on time.



Monitor quality control to ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, and owner expectations.



Help maintain a safe jobsite by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety protocols.



Coordinate with the Project Management team to incorporate owner changes and ensure timely execution.



Ensure all required jobsite signage, notices, safety documentation, and MSDS information are properly maintained and displayed.



Assist in conducting weekly subcontractor and owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings.



Track project progress and communicate updates to the Superintendent and Project Management team.



Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.



QualificationsExperience in multifamily, senior living, commercial, or residential construction preferred.



Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach.



Organized, proactive, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.



Comfortable utilizing construction technology, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related software.



Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.



Ability to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.



Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and professionalism.



Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment.
