Job Description:
A well-established South Florida real estate development firm is seeking a Development Manager to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from a reputable general contractor environment who has strong preconstruction, estimating, and construction management experience and is looking to transition into a more dynamic, development-focused role. Responsibilities Assist with pre-development activities for large-scale condo and mixed-use projects Oversee construction and execution of luxury sales centers Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders Participate in budgeting, estimating, value engineering, and scheduling efforts Support due diligence, planning, and overall project execution from early stages through construction Review plans, specifications, bids, and project costs Help manage project timelines, reporting, and vendor coordination Qualifications Background in preconstruction, estimating, or project management with a reputable GC Experience with multifamily, condo, mixed-use, or hospitality projects preferred Strong understanding of construction costs, budgeting, and project planning Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to move into the ownership/development side and gain exposure to high-profile South Florida projects.
