Traveling Construction Manager

Join a growing real estate and construction development team as a Traveling Construction Manager , working remotely with an ideal base in Florida near Lakeland and traveling throughout the Southeast. This established company has been in business since 2009 and supports major commercial retail brands through site selection, development, and construction, offering high retention, internal promotion opportunities, and a collaborative open-door culture. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traveling Construction Manager position include: 7-10 years of construction project management or equivalent experience with a strong retail background. Must be knowledgeable in both vertical and horizontal construction. Experience managing commercial retail projects such as restaurants, convenience stores, auto parts stores, and quick-service retail developments. Review and maintain project schedules, budgets, pay applications, change orders, invoices, and development tracking dashboards. Communicate daily with general contractors, consultants, clients, vendors, and internal team members. Conduct routine site visits to observe, document, and report project progress through written, verbal, and photographic methods. Review and maintain construction documents, contracts, submittals, RFIs, permitting, inspections, close-out documents, and punch lists. Experience with MS Office, Google tools, Bluebeam, ACC, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management and scheduling software.

Salary :

$100,000 - $130,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
