Our flagship residential development is a gated luxury estate subdivision, where we are simultaneously building four custom personal residences and one spec home as Phase 1 of a multi-phase development pipeline. Role:

Opal Construction Group is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Construction Manager to take full operational ownership of our flagship luxury development in the Tampa Bay area. You will lead site operations—simultaneously managing five custom and spec luxury residences for Phase1 — while establishing the field systems, trade standards, and quality controls as we expand into Phase 2, Phase 3, and commercial retail projects.

What You Will Do:

Multi-Home Field Leadership:

Serve as the lead on-site manager across 5 concurrent luxury builds, managing trade sequencing, material logistics, and site efficiency.

Schedule & Inspection Ownership:

Drive the master construction schedule, coordinating Hillsborough County permitting, inspections, and utility sign-offs through to Certificate of Occupancy.

Budget & Subcontract Administration:

Manage project budgets, negotiate trade scopes, issue purchase orders, and tightly enforce change order controls.

Subcontractor Management:

Build, vet, and hold local framing, MEP, and finish trades accountable to schedule, scope, and luxury craftsmanship standards.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

Conduct owner-architect-contractor (OAC) walk-throughs and serve as the professional point of contact for custom home clients.

Operational Scaling:

Partner directly with ownership to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and mentor future field superintendents as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications:

5+ years of residential construction management experience, with proven success delivering high-end custom homes. 3+ years managing multiple concurrent residential builds on-site. Deep, hands-on working knowledge of Florida Building Codes , local permitting processes, and Tampa Bay-area trade networks. Strong proficiency with construction management platforms (Buildertrend, Procore, or similar) and scheduling software. Excellent negotiation, sub-contractor management, and client communication skills. Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record. Active Florida Certified Residential/Building/General Contractor license (CRC, CBC, or CGC) is a strong plus.

Pay:

$110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
