Inspire. Organize. Make an Impact. Big Ideas Educational Services is seeking an energetic, organized, and student-centered Site Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our out-of-school programs. This is an opportunity for an emerging or experienced educational leader who enjoys leading a team, building relationships with families and school partners, creating engaging experiences for students, and making sure all the details behind a successful program come together. Our Site Managers are more than supervisors—they are the leaders of their sites . They set the tone for staff, students, and families while ensuring that Big Ideas programs are safe, engaging, organized, and aligned with our commitment to excellence. What You'll Do Lead & Develop Your Team Lead, motivate, and support Activity Leaders, teachers, coaches, and other program staff. Help onboard and train team members while reinforcing expectations and best practices. Coordinate staff schedules and daily assignments to ensure appropriate program coverage. Conduct daily team check-ins and provide coaching and feedback. Build a positive team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and student success. Create an Engaging Student Experience Coordinate daily academic, enrichment, STEM, arts, recreation, and other program activities. Support the development and implementation of engaging lessons and activities. Ensure programming complements the school-day experience and meets the needs of participating students. Monitor program quality and help staff continuously improve the student experience. Manage Daily Site Operations Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of your assigned program site. Manage student arrival, attendance, transitions, dismissal, and authorized pickup procedures. Maintain accurate program records, logs, schedules, and required documentation. Monitor supplies, technology, curriculum materials, and site inventory. Ensure established policies, procedures, safety expectations, and program requirements are followed consistently. Build Strong Family & School Relationships Serve as a professional point of contact for parents and guardians. Develop positive working relationships with school administrators, teachers, and community partners. Communicate clearly and professionally when addressing questions or concerns. Help create a welcoming environment where students and families feel connected to the program. Manage Attendance, Data & Compliance Maintain accurate student attendance and program records. Enter and review required information in internal and external reporting systems. Monitor documentation for accuracy and completeness. Review program data and communicate trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to leadership. Meet required reporting deadlines and maintain organized site documentation. Support Positive Student Behavior Establish a structured, positive, and welcoming program environment. Coach staff on effective behavior-management strategies. Coordinate appropriate interventions when students need additional behavioral support. Communicate with families and leadership regarding significant concerns when necessary. You may be a great fit if you: Have experience working in education, after-school programming, youth development, childcare, recreation, or a related field. Have experience supervising or leading a team. Are confident communicating with parents, school administrators, staff, and students. Are highly organized and comfortable managing schedules, attendance, documentation, and deadlines. Can remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment. Are comfortable using technology and learning new data and reporting systems. Understand that successful youth programs require both great relationships and strong accountability . Believe that every detail—from student engagement to dismissal procedures—matters.
