Project Manager - Electrical Construction Lead High-Profile Commercial Electrical Projects Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager ready to take ownership of complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion? We are seeking a driven and highly organized Project Manager to serve as the primary leader for the administrative, financial, and technical management of major electrical construction projects. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and preconstruction teams while having a direct impact on project success. What You'll Do As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the project's overall execution, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

Serve as the primary company representative for assigned construction projects. Lead project administration from contract award through completion. Review owner contracts and ensure all contractual requirements are understood and met. Work closely with Estimating and Preconstruction during project development, negotiations, and turnover. Partner with owners, architects/engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve constructability issues and identify value-engineering opportunities. Develop and manage the master project schedule , look-ahead schedules, and critical project milestones. Identify potential project risks, schedule impacts, and additional costs before they become major issues. Manage project budgets, scopes, forecasts, and financial performance. Review job-cost reports on a weekly and monthly basis and implement corrective action when necessary. Manage Change Orders , including preparation of owner and subcontractor change orders. Prepare monthly owner requisitions and support accurate project billing. Oversee procurement, submittals, document control, and other key project administration functions. Manage the development and administration of GMP and Lump Sum contracts . Evaluate subcontractors and vendors to ensure they have the financial and operational capability to perform. Verify that all subcontractor and vendor contractual requirements are satisfied before mobilization. Manage project assets and resources throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure safety is incorporated into project planning and execution. Oversee the project's quality-control program and ensure work meets contractual and company standards. Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. What We're Looking For Four-year degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field , or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in construction, design, finance, and/or project management. At least 2 years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor . Strong understanding of electrical construction and commercial project execution. Proven experience with scheduling, cost control, contracts, change orders, procurement, and quality control . Advanced knowledge of construction documents, engineering drawings, safety regulations, and project financials. Strong computer skills and experience with construction/project management software. Experience with platforms such as Primavera, Expedition, CMS systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and AIA Contract Documents is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
