This role is pivotal in ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and inspected in compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project schedules. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to managing teams and coordinating complex electrical tasks within large-scale construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities across multiple construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations. Manage and direct electrical crews, providing clear guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize team productivity. Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to interpret electrical requirements accurately. Oversee the scheduling of electrical work in alignment with overall project timelines using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools. Conduct regular inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and quality control measures. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate construction schedules and resolve technical issues promptly. Review contracts and manage procurement of materials using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools; ensure timely delivery of supplies. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits and troubleshooting issues on-site. Ensure all work complies with relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices for commercial construction projects. Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, inspection reports, and progress updates. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction drawings for accuracy. Skilled in project scheduling and coordination to meet tight deadlines without compromising safety or quality. Deep understanding of federal OSHA regulations and construction safety management practices. Proven ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of work quality. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing contracts effectively. Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools like Ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting complex electrical issues on-site. Familiarity with pipeline installation processes within large-scale infrastructure projects is a plus. Demonstrated leadership in supervising crews on heavy civil or commercial construction projects involving complex electrical systems.
