• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Superintendent to lead and oversee commercial large-scale heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects from inception to completion.

In this pivotal role, you will manage construction teams, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure that all HVAC installations meet safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and blueprint reading will drive the successful delivery of complex HVAC systems across diverse commercial and industrial sites. Duties Lead and supervise HVAC construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate all phases of HVAC installation. Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Manage procurement processes, including contracts, material ordering, and tracking using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. Oversee quality control measures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA standards and industry best practices. Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and enforce safety regulations on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. Utilize construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication among team members. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Supervise the installation of HVAC systems including piping, ductwork, controls, and equipment according to schematics and technical specifications. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising HVAC or heavy construction projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6. Extensive experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. Familiarity with construction estimating processes including contracts and budgeting procedures. Hands-on experience with site safety protocols including OSHA regulations; certification preferred. Skilled in project scheduling and resource allocation using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards for quality control and safety compliance. Knowledge of pipeline systems related to HVAC installations is a plus. Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components within HVAC systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.
