Position Summary:
The Construction Superintendent (Subcontractor - Interior Finishes) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site interior finish activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contract specifications for division 8 and 10.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily on-site operations related to interior finishes including, doors, millwork, and final trim. 2. Ensure all work meets project specifications, building codes, and quality standards, conduct inspections and address deficiencies. 3. Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols. 4. Serve as primary on-site contact between general contractor, project managers, subcontractors, and clients. 5. Oversee delivery, staging, and usage of materials to prevent delays or shortages. 6. Identify and resolve construction, scheduling, or design issues 7. Maintain daily reports, progress logs, photos, and documentation. 8. Manage punch list completion and final project closeout.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5+ years' experience in construction supervision, specifically in interior finishes. 2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications 4. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 5. OSHA certification preferred 6.
