Construction Management Graduate - Project Coordinator Start Your Career in Electrical Construction Owen Electric is looking for a recent Construction Management graduate who wants to build a long-term career in the construction industry. This is an entry-level career opportunity designed specifically for someone who recently earned—or is about to earn—a bachelor's degree in construction management. Prior construction management experience is not required. You will work directly with our Director of Contracts and Operational Procedures and gain hands-on exposure to how a large electrical contractor operates from the inside out. Rather than being assigned to only one piece of the construction process, you'll have the opportunity to learn how projects move from preconstruction and contract execution through project management, field operations, administration, and closeout. What You'll Do Assist with construction contracts and project documentation Help coordinate project startup and closeout activities Track project milestones, documentation, and deliverables Assist with change documentation and project administration Work with Project Managers, Operations, Estimating, Accounting, and field leadership Help develop and maintain company procedures and SOPs Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documentation Assist with special projects and company-wide operational initiatives Learn the processes and systems used to manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects Who We're Looking For We're primarily looking for someone who: Recently earned a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or will graduate within the next six months Wants to build a career in construction operations or project management Is organized, professional, and detail-oriented Communicates well and is comfortable working with different departments and levels of leadership Has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Is comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new construction technology Wants an opportunity to learn the business rather than simply perform an administrative role No extensive construction experience is required. Internships, co-ops, or previous construction exposure are helpful but not necessary.
