$105,000 to $140,000 base + performance bonus Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground up multifamily apartment construction projects in the Tampa Bay area. The initial portfolio includes four apartment developments of approximately 75 units each. These are ground up multifamily buildings using wood frame structural systems. This role requires a strong field leader who can take ownership of jobsite operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule execution, safety, and quality control. The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of construction quality. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who takes pride in running an organized jobsite and holding subcontractors accountable. Responsibilities Project Leadership Provide full on site leadership for multifamily construction projects Manage daily jobsite operations and trade coordination Maintain accountability for project schedule and field execution Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain strong communication across trades Subcontractor Procurement and Management Lead subcontractor qualification and bid solicitation Prepare and distribute RFP packages to trade contractors Evaluate bids and assist with subcontractor selection Manage subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle Vendor Qualification and Procurement Identify and qualify material vendors and suppliers Coordinate procurement schedules to maintain construction momentum Ensure materials meet plans and specifications Schedule and Budget Execution Maintain and enforce the project construction schedule Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions Coordinate closely with project management to maintain budget targets Jobsite Safety Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance Maintain a clean and organized construction site Quality Control and Inspections Maintain responsibility for overall construction quality Coordinate all required municipal inspections Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and building codes Manage punch lists and final project closeout Qualifications 7+ years of construction experience 3+ years as a Construction Superintendent Proven experience delivering multifamily projects Strong experience with wood frame and CMU structural systems Strong ability to manage subcontractors and maintain schedules Working knowledge of building codes and inspection processes Strong leadership and jobsite management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering 50 to 250 unit apartment projects Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project Familiarity with Florida permitting and inspections OSHA certification
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary:
$105,000 to $140,000 depending on experience
Project Performance Bonus:
$15,000 to $35,000 annually
Vehicle Allowance or Company Truck:
