Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Underground Foreman and lead the successful execution of complex underground construction projects. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, manage crews, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project managers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management and underground infrastructure will drive project success while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Duties Supervise and coordinate underground construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Manage and direct construction crews, assigning tasks effectively to optimize productivity and quality. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules to facilitate accurate execution of work. Monitor project progress using construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, and Prolog; adjust schedules as needed for timely completion. Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; enforce safety protocols across the site. Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of project milestones. Oversee quality control processes, including blueprint review, construction drawing review, and ensuring adherence to construction regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, incident logs, and safety records. Manage project budgets by tracking costs related to labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services using HeavyBid or similar tools. Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on site; interpret technical drawings for installation accuracy. Skills Extensive experience in underground or heavy civil construction management with a strong understanding of pipeline projects. Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment; excellent supervisory skills. Proficiency with construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, Prolog, and HeavyBid. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; ability to enforce safety policies rigorously. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction drawings for accuracy. Expertise in project scheduling and coordination to ensure timely completion of underground projects. Effective communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing contracts. Ability to perform quality control inspections using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters; ensure compliance with all construction regulations. Experience supervising crews on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects; managing budgets and timelines efficiently. Join us to lead impactful underground projects that shape communities!
