Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Cabinetry Field Supervisor oversees all aspects of cabinet installation at job sites across new construction and remodel projects. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring installation quality, resolving on-site issues, supporting subcontractor crews, and maintaining positive relationships with builders, homeowners, and internal departments. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of cabinetry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic field environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Installation Oversight Oversee day-to-day cabinet installation activities on assigned job sites to ensure quality craftsmanship, proper fitment, and adherence to plans. Conduct pre- and post-installation site walks to verify readiness, completion, and punch list status. Ensure all installations meet company standards, local codes, and client expectations. Subcontractor Coordination Act as the primary point of contact for installation crews and subcontractors on site. Support and guide crews on technical challenges and installation best practices. Verify proper handling, staging, and storage of materials. Customer & Builder Communication Interface professionally with builders, superintendents, and homeowners to communicate timelines, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction. Provide status updates and feedback to internal teams (Service, Sales, Scheduling). Issue Resolution & Field Adjustments
• Identify and respond to field issues such as damaged or missing parts, layout discrepancies, or construction delays. Coordinate with the Service team to initiate work orders when needed. Ensure prompt escalation and resolution of high-priority concerns. Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a safe working environment for all field personnel and subcontractors. Ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines and internal safety protocols. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety and quality standards. Documentation & Reporting Complete daily or weekly job site reports as required, including installation progress, punch items, and variances. Use company systems (e.g., Salesforce or other project tools) to document updates and submit reports timely.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in cabinetry installation, field supervision, or construction site management. Strong working knowledge of cabinet construction, installation processes, and finish carpentry. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and blueprints. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor with builders and homeowners. Proven leadership and problem-solving skills in field environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (travel to job sites required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
