Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent specializing in Custom Residential projects. Duties Oversee all phases of custom residential construction from groundbreaking to final walkthrough, ensuring project milestones are met on schedule. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain seamless workflow and high-quality craftsmanship. Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as JobTread, adjusting plans proactively to address delays or changes. Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and federal construction safety regulations. Monitor construction budgets, track expenses, and manage contracts to ensure financial objectives are achieved without compromising quality. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the build process, addressing issues promptly to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship. Lead management meetings with teams to communicate project goals and progress updates effectively. Utilize construction scheduling tools to coordinate activities and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects. Review construction drawings regularly for accuracy and compliance; interpret technical details accurately when necessary. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and project records for transparency and accountability. Experience Proven experience managing custom residential construction projects with a strong background in managing teams in a construction management role. Extensive knowledge bid processes and contract administration within the residential sector. Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawing review, project scheduling, and construction drawing interpretation. Hands-on experience supervising crews on-site with a focus on safety compliance according to OSHA standards and federal regulations. Strong background in managing budgets, project timelines, quality control measures, and safety protocols on high-end residential sites. Excellent managerial communication skills with a track record of effectively managing teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high morale.
