This role combines hands-on construction site management with strategic project leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical piping and equipment installation, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and be proficient in construction management tools. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to foster collaboration and maintain high safety standards Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure clarity and compliance with project requirements Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating, contract negotiations, and cost management strategies Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and communication Coordinate project schedules across multiple teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation Maintain accurate records of project progress, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs Facilitate effective communication between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery Experience Proven experience in mechanical piping and equipment. We're mostly a mechanical piping company but also set and install equipment. Understand and be experienced in welding practices of varying metallurgy (mostly stainless). Extensive background in construction site management including safety enforcement and regulatory compliance Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and control costs effectively using construction estimating tools and cost management strategies Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting construction plans, contracts, and technical specifications Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Familiarity with construction regulations at local, state/provincial levels; understanding of environmental policies impacting construction sites Basic computer skills are required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects Experience working in food manufacturing facilities is a PLUS.
