Commercial Federal Vertical New Build Project Manager Location:
Fort Stewart, Georgia Job Type:
Full-Time Salary:
$100,000-$125,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)

Commercial / Federal Construction About the Position We are seeking an experienced Commercial Federal Vertical New Build Project Manager to oversee construction projects at and around Fort Stewart, Georgia . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing commercial or federal vertical construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This position requires a strong understanding of construction practices, project coordination, scheduling, subcontractor management, safety, quality control, and day-to-day field operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and providing leadership to project teams and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial and federal vertical new-build construction projects from start to completion. Coordinate daily project activities with owners, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, architects, and field personnel. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project documentation. Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and schedule performance. Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements, plans, specifications, and schedule. Conduct and participate in project meetings and progress meetings. Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, commercial, safety, quality, and construction requirements. Work closely with field supervisors and project personnel to coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and sequencing. Provide hands-on leadership and supervision as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, government representatives, subcontractors, and internal management. Assist with estimating, procurement, budgeting, and project closeout activities as needed. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years of related construction experience ; up to 10 years preferred . Related on-the-job training and experience in construction practices. Experience and training must include construction methods, techniques, equipment, and procedures. Hands-on experience in a supervisory position is required. Experience managing or supervising commercial vertical construction projects preferred. Federal construction experience strongly preferred. Experience with new-build construction projects preferred. Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and project documents. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities while maintaining project schedules. Willingness to work in a field/construction environment. Preferred Experience Federal government construction projects Military installation construction Commercial vertical new construction Project management and construction supervision Subcontractor management Scheduling and cost control Project documentation and contract administration Working with government customers, inspectors, and representatives
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
