Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Superintendent to support daily job-site operations across commercial and institutional general construction projects. In this role, you will act as the key link between field crews, subcontractors, and project management. You will enforce OSHA safety standards, track daily project progress against schedule milestones, conduct quality inspections, and resolve field conflicts before they impact project timelines. Responsibilities As a member of Redemption General Contractors, always promote the company in a positive and professional manner.
Field Supervision:
Assist in directing day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring trades adhere to project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Assist in enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct weekly safety tool-box talks and perform daily site hazard assessments.
Subcontractor Coordination:
Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and tracking subcontractor workflows, deliveries, and equipment usage on-site.
Quality Control & Inspections:
Assist in performing routine walkthroughs to verify quality of work. Assist municipal inspectors and third-party testing agencies during official site visits.
Project Logistics & Materials:
Assist in tracking material deliveries, inspecting incoming deliveries for damage, and maintaining site layout, cleanliness, and security.
Documentation & Reporting:
Assist in maintaining accurate daily field logs, photo records, weather reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and incident reports using project management software.
Punch List & Closeout:
Help manage the punch-list process, test equipment, and complete final walk-throughs prior to project handover. Plan the work, work the plan Titles don't define boundaries here. Everyone, from leadership to entry-level, steps in to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Skills Technical Skills:
General Knowledge of construction drawnings and constrruction documents is required, Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) as well as Google workspace

Pay:
$72,000.00 per year
