About the Role Are you a highly organized administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dynamic Construction Coordinator (CC) to join our home building team. The Construction Coordinator is a vital player in our daily operations, serving as the central hub of communication between our office, sales team, customers, and field operations. This is a diverse role combining administrative mastery, cross-departmental collaboration, and production support. If you excel at multitasking, keeping projects on schedule, and supporting field managers, we want to hear from you! What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Office Administration:
Manage day-to-day clerical operations, organize paperwork, streamline procedures, and maintain accurate digital and physical files.
Communication & Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact connecting settlements, AR/AP, estimating, sales, trade partners, and suppliers with our Project Managers.
Field & Production Support:
Assist in assembling and tracking job start packages prior to construction and support Project Managers with scheduling and phone calls.
HR & Onboarding Logistics:
Coordinate team expense reports, mileage logs, and vacation tracking. Assist in onboarding and training new employees on office systems and policies.
Operations & Safety Compliance:
Maintain office equipment logs, order supplies, manage workspace presentation (office and model areas), and maintain OSHA, SDS, and safety compliance records. What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
Experience:
1+ years of administrative assistance, office coordination, or clerical experience (experience in construction, real estate, or home building is a strong plus).
Skills:
Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with office phone systems, file management, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace).
Adaptability:
A proactive problem-solver who can train others and assist with regional office setup when needed.
