Closing Supervisor Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Closing Shift (typically 10:00 AM-6:50 PM or 9:30 AM-6:30 PM)
Location:
Willoway Preschool (McDonough) Join Our Team! Willoway Preschool is looking for a dependable, organized, and positive Closing Supervisor to help lead our team each afternoon and ensure our center finishes every day safely, efficiently, and with excellence. As the Closing Supervisor, you'll support the Director, provide leadership to classroom staff, ensure licensing standards are maintained, communicate with families during pick-up, and oversee all end-of-day operations. Responsibilities Supervise daily afternoon and evening operations of the center. Support teachers in maintaining high-quality classroom environments. Ensure state licensing regulations and Willoway policies are followed at all times. Conduct classroom walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance. Assist with staffing needs and classroom coverage as needed. Provide coaching and support to team members throughout the day. Build positive relationships with children and families during afternoon pick-up. Handle parent questions and concerns professionally. Complete daily closing checklist and ensure the building is secure before leaving. Ensure classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds are clean and ready for the next day. Communicate important updates to the Director and opening leadership team. Assist with tours, enrollment inquiries, and special events when needed. Model Willoway's core values through professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Early Childhood Education preferred). Minimum 2 years of childcare experience. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start licensing regulations preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm, positive, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment. Dependable with excellent attendance.
