Job Description Lead all preconstruction and estimating activities for ground-up commercial projects valued at $15M+. Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates. Manage quantity takeoffs, budget development, and value engineering initiatives. Collaborate with operations, project management, design teams, and subcontractors throughout the preconstruction process. Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Support strategic business growth through accurate project planning and competitive bid delivery. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Preconstruction Manager should have: 5+ years of commercial construction estimating or preconstruction experience. Proven experience supporting or leading ground-up projects valued at $15 million or greater. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, budgeting, and cost control. Demonstrated success in education, institutional, or commercial construction environments. Proficiency with Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work within commuting distance of the client's regional office locations. Leadership capability with the ambition to progress into a senior departmental role. What's on Offer Base salary of $120,000 - $150,000.
