Job Overview Power Plant Experience a Must! Per diem offered for some candidates. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Superintendent and Field Engineers to lead and manage electrical construction projects across diverse sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex electrical installations within large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management experience, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and project scheduling. Duties Lead and supervise electrical field teams, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining high safety standards. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems. Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Manage procurement processes, including contracts, subcontractor coordination, and material logistics using tools like ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam. Oversee quality control measures to ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA and industry best practices. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and address any technical or logistical issues promptly. Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and manage change orders effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Supervise crews on-site, providing guidance on construction safety management, blueprint reading, and technical problem-solving. Ensure adherence to construction regulations related to heavy bid projects and pipeline installations where applicable. Utilize Ohmmeter and other testing equipment for electrical system diagnostics to verify installation integrity. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a focus on electrical systems. Strong background in managing teams in a construction management role with supervisory experience on large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Primavera; familiarity with construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam is preferred. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. In-depth understanding of OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and construction site safety management practices. Experience with contracts management, budgeting, and project cost control including managing change orders using Prolog or similar systems. Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews and coordination with stakeholders at all levels. Construction site experience with a focus on electrical installations in pipeline or heavy civil projects is highly desirable. Ability to operate testing equipment such as Ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics confidently.
