Superintendent - Commercial Drywall Construction Quantum Commercial is a Commercial Metal Framing, Drywall & Painting Contractor that specializes in large scale projects. We are one of the Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina and are currently seeking the commercial construction industry's best Superintendents to join our award winning team and oversee our projects in Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA or Greenville, SC. The potential candidate should have a solid background in the field and be able to coordinate operations and oversee 25+ workers at multiple construction sites. As the point of contact for both employees, subcontractors and customers, you will be a key person for the success of the drywall project and our companies continued growth. A minimum of five years experience is required in drywall commercial construction supervision. Must be willing to relocate to Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, or Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities:

Maintain our company growth by exceeding customers' expectations on all projects Oversee daily jobsite operations to make sure all team members are productive and working efficiently to meet project schedule and budget Use their knowledge of commercial drywall and specialty finishes to lead the team and ensure quality management with a keen eye for detail Monitor safety procedures to ensure all jobs and staff are following proper procedures Communicate and coordinate daily with customer representatives to update on progress and sequencing Attend daily and weekly project meetings to ensure coordination with other trades Control labor and material costs to meet project budgets Process weekly paper work: time sheets, daily reports, tool box talks and extra work tickets Aid Project Managers with change orders, RFI's, material procurement, and production tracking Enhance overall project profitability

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in drywall commercial construction supervisor role Must relocate to Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA or Greenville, SC Ability to coordinate employees to accommodate construction schedules Ability to recognize problems and make appropriate decisions to solve them Strong leadership presence Excellent knowledge of commercial drywall installation, metal stud framing and acoustical ceilings Aptitude in using appropriate tools & blueprint reading Must pass a drug screen & background check
