JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plumbing service department to ensure maximum productivity, job quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role ensures technicians are properly scheduled, jobs are executed efficiently, and company standards are upheld. The Production Manager serves as the operational leader of field technicians, coordinating with dispatch, warehouse, office staff, and ownership to maintain smooth service operations and consistent performance.

We are Emergency Plumbing & Solar (EPS Hawaii), a service-based plumbing company providing emergency plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, pipe lining, water heater installations, and plumbing repairs for residential and commercial customers. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

Manage daily technician scheduling and dispatch to maximize productivity and minimize drive time. Monitor job progress throughout the day and resolve operational issues quickly. Ensure technicians follow company procedures, safety standards, and pricing guidelines. Track and improve key performance indicators including revenue per technician, close rates, and job profitability. Conduct technician coaching, performance reviews, and daily check-ins. Review job estimates, invoices, and change orders for accuracy and profitability. Conduct job-site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Manage service truck inventory, tools, and equipment readiness. Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and administrative staff to ensure efficient operations. Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Review completed jobs and invoices daily for accuracy and completeness. Address escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

GED or High School Diploma required; Plumbing Certification, or BS in Business (Preferred) Minimum (5) years of plumbing experience required Minimum (3) years of progressive leadership experience Current State Driver's License & Clean Driving Record required Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking Ability to work in enclosed environments exposed to excessive noise, automotive shop environment, and cold or heat Must be able to lift at least 25lbs Perform work with OSHA required PPE Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential requirements.
