Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. You will coordinate on-site activities, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various people, such as subcontractors, architects, engineers and the project owners. In order to succeed, it's important to know how to implement quality and safety standards onsite. Your Role Take ownership of detail-oriented projects and collaborate with the architects, engineers, subcontractors, and owners to build quality spaces Establish the project schedule and work to maintain it. Plan construction processes. Supervise staff and subcontractors Monitor and report on project progress Plan and coordinate inspections Implement safety and quality guidelines Keep track of all RFI's and Submittals Track material orders Ensure the jobsite remains safe, clean and orderly Resolve onsite issues and emergencies Skills & Requirements Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role Knowledge of local quality and safety guidelines for construction sites An experienced understanding of construction operations, processes and expectations Familiarity with Excel, Word and Microsoft Project Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organizational and time management skills The desire to lead and inspire A degree in Construction Management or similar field helps, but is not required.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
