A Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the efficient performance and quality production of subordinates to ensure the timely processing of parts orders with the end result of providing customers with the best possible service. Responsibilities center around the receipt, processing, storing, picking, packing, shipping, as well as invoicing parts orders. Also included in the Supervisors responsibilities are the control of maintenance and safety issues pertaining to the region facility, as well as any related activities as assigned by and/or in absence of the site Manager. Your Impact Sets expectations and hold people accountable for Environmental, Health and Safety program compliance and model the appropriate behavior. Establishes managing processes for advancing and ensuring consistency of the Environmental, Health and Safety program within area of responsibility. Independently instructs and supervises the warehouse workforce by delegating job duties to employees as well as by reviewing their performance; provides required training to insure efficient and effective output. Oversees equipment maintenance in assigned area to insure safe and efficient operation. Maintains required company records and other related documentation (i.e. Employee Attendance and Performance Records; Output Quotas; Invoices). Assures cost controls and quality production in assigned areas through efficient company operations. Evaluates complaints from employees, customers, and dealers, and responds to as appropriate in order to promote positive relationships both internally and externally. Independently and collectively inspects work performed in order to maximize quality standards upheld by company. Maintains the building facility in the absence of the site Manager, taking immediate action regarding any function normally attended to by the Manager.
Your Experience and Qualifications Education:
Equivalent to four years of high school. Any Business Management education is also highly recommended.
Experience:
At least three to five years of relevant warehouse supervision experience.
Training:
Requires knowledge of agricultural equipment parts, machinery, and equipment, as well as applicable company operating procedures. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 8% of compensation.
