Job Description
at Mortenson Construction in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States Job Description SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator I with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This is not a remote position. 100% travel is expected. Project based for 3 weeks with regular rotations home for 5-7 days per month. Project location is Reddick, IL. When project is completed, you will be sent anywhere in the U.S. Must be willing to travel anywhere. Sponsorships are not available for this position. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Heavy equipment tracking and document control experience will be given priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, work production plans for easy retrieval and documenting Process invoices and billing under the supervision of project manager and/or project accountant Train in new project admins/clerks Perform basic inventory control under the direction of project management staff Assist with record retention and document controls Perform basic field quality and safety inspections Document conformance to plans and specs Recommend potential solutions Promote Mortenson's safety culture Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
