CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT DUNNET BAY CONSTRUCTION
Join an established heavy-highway contractor building complex roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.
THE ROLE
Dunnet Bay Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and take ownership of projects from mobilization through closeout. The Superintendent will be responsible for field leadership, safety, scheduling, coordination, productivity, and successful project execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and oversee daily field construction operations Coordinate manpower, equipment, trucking, materials, and subcontractors Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite Track project quantities, production, labor hours, and job costs Work closely with Project Managers to monitor project performance Attend owner and project progress meetings Communicate schedule updates, delays, RFIs, submittals, and field issues Ensure subcontractors remain on schedule and comply with project safety requirements Assist with pay estimates, extra work documentation, and project cost reporting The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, decisive, and able to successfully coordinate crews, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and project management.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual Salary:
