Job Description Responsibilities include:
Manage all phases of commercial retail construction projects from planning through final turnover. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts. Coordinate subcontractor bidding, procurement, contract administration, and project execution. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure timely project delivery. Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings while serving as the primary client contact. Monitor project financial performance, including billing, forecasting, and cost control. Collaborate closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule and quality standards. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project momentum. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality control procedures. Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who enjoys building client relationships while successfully managing multiple fast-paced commercial projects. The Successful Applicant 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor. Experience managing ground-up and renovation retail, commercial, restaurant, grocery, mixed-use, or tenant improvement projects. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project financials. Experience working on occupied renovations and phased construction projects is highly preferred. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
