This position requires a self-motivated individual to perform the detailed planning and scheduling of construction work, prepare bid packages for subcontract work, and ensure work is executed in line with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, as well as corporate and client expectations.
Responsibilities Review and input to engineering information packages for constructability and completeness.
Integrate multiple engineering information packages and develop bid packages for request for proposals (RFP's)
Develop detailed execution plans/schedules and other deliverables as required.
Facilitate and develop project safety & quality plans and manage safety & quality in the field.
Facilitate/develop labor and material estimates, material takeoffs and enter requisitions.
Actively manage costs on projects; responsibilities include creating cost reports, updating cost trends/projections, and processing change orders.
Schedule and coordinate construction crews to support plant operations and track and report progress.
Interface with the Owner, engineers, field supervision, and subcontractors Requirements 2-year Associates of Construction Management or 4-year Engineering degree or related Construction degree. Plus 5 - 10 years' equivalent industrial facility construction management experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are required.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project
Understanding of Lean Construction/Six Sigma Principles (Continuous Improvement, Target Value Delivery, LPS®) preferred
Experience with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (Copilot) into daily work processes is a plus. OSHA 10 or 30 Training preferred. Please visit our website for additional company information at www.is-usa.bilfinger.com.
