Specialist/Supervisor:

EHS LOTO

Supervisor leads the integrated LOTO program for the project, coordinating with project management, engineering, construction, and client teams to integrate safety into startup planning. The role ensures compliance with Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPP), Standard Technical Control Procedures (STCP), and safety standards. This is a project site location in the Midwest .

Position:

Vista Energy L.P. is proactively seeking candidates for work in the United States at the project location in the Midwest. If selected candidate must relocate to the project site.

Required Skills & Education:

LOTO Program Leadership:

Oversee the implementation of a safe, uniform energy isolation program for all work activities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety standards

Coordination & Integration:

Work with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to align LOTO procedures with project scope, startup plans, and commissioning schedules

Risk & Trend Management:

Identify potential hazards, monitor trends, and proactively correct deviations to meet safety goals and schedules

Training & Compliance:

Provide training to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning team members on LOTO procedures, ensuring all workers understand and follow protocols

Energy Isolation Management:

Develop and issue isolation permits, set isolation limits, and manage the energy isolation program with record-keeping

Supervision & Auditing:

Monitor and audit worker activities within lockout permits to ensure compliance with energy isolation requirements

Equipment Oversight:

Supervise installation and maintenance of LOTO equipment such as padlocks, tags, and isolation devices

Material Management:

Obtain and manage necessary materials to support the LOTO program 5-10 years of

EHS LOTO

Supervisory role and technical field experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or minimum 7-10 years of relevant project execution experience. Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills required. Solid time management skills that demonstrate excellent organizational efficiency. Track record of achievement and career progression. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to walk over rough or uneven terrain as experienced on renewable energy construction sites. Ability to work in inclement weather conditions as experienced across North America and in locations where industrial projects are typically located. Ability to enter confined or enclosed spaces.

Working Conditions:

Assignment is project site based.

Work Schedule:

Work hours are based on a minimum of fifty-eight (58) hours per week, and subject to change based on project requirements.
