Up to $150k + Benefits Our client, a respected Chicago General Contractor , is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join its growing team. The role will oversee a strong pipeline of commercial and multifamily projects across Chicago . Multifamily experience is preferred, but strong commercial experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Lead on-site construction from mobilisation through closeout Manage subcontractors, field teams, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedules Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners Review drawings, specifications, sequencing, and potential project risks Run site meetings and monitor manpower, deliveries, inspections, and milestones Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard Manage RFIs, field documentation, punch lists, and closeout Required Experience & Skills Proven Superintendent experience with a General Contractor Strong background delivering commercial construction projects Multifamily experience preferred but not essential Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred Strong subcontractor, scheduling, safety, and quality-control experience Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6, or similar software Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills This is a great opportunity to join a stable Chicago contractor with a strong backlog of work and long-term progression opportunities.
