Role Overview:

As a Final Records Coordinator, you will conduct a District review of final construction records. You will routinely communicate with INDOT employees from all divisions including Contractor personnel, Consultants, City or County officials, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) personnel, and Central Office personnel for final construction record input or inventory queries and concerns. You will personally meet with all parties on an as-needed basis. You are also responsible to maintain a timeline database of completed construction contracts up to their transfer to Central Offices. Main responsibilities to include:



Works with INDOT personnel and contractor personnel to receive Final Construction Records documentation on a timely basisProvides training and direction with the goal of aiding the Professional Engineer and/or Project Supervisor, consultant, and contractor compilation of necessary construction data for Final Contract Review (FCR) submissionVisits Field Offices as required for audit questions or paperwork transfer

This position is with INDOT's Greenfield District.

Salary:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $39,000.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package. A Day in the

Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:


Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policies.



Answer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.



Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.



Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.



Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.



Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.

Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:



General knowledge of the program area.



Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidelines, agency policy and professional standards and practices.



Ability to research and compile specific topics related to program area.



Ability to communicate orally and in writing.



Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.



Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.



Specialized knowledge of accounting principles.
