Description:
Security Superintendent Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Security Superintendent to lead field operations for a large commercial security and access control project. This role is responsible for overseeing technicians and project leads, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. The Security Superintendent serves as the primary field leader, coordinating labor resources, managing installation quality, resolving technical challenges, and maintaining strong communication with project teams and customers. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial security projects Lead, mentor, and support technicians and project leads Coordinate manpower, schedules, and project milestones to ensure timely completion Oversee installation and commissioning of: Access Control Systems CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems Intrusion Detection Systems Other low-voltage security technologies Conduct quality assurance inspections and ensure adherence to project standards Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and installation issues Enforce safety policies, procedures, and OSHA compliance standards Communicate project status, risks, and updates with customers, subcontractors, and internal management teams Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Required Qualifications Experience supervising security, access control, CCTV, and alarm system installations Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring and security system infrastructure Proven leadership experience managing field technicians and project crews Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience commissioning, testing, and verifying security system performance Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications OSHA safety training or knowledge Manufacturer certifications related to access control, CCTV, or intrusion systems Experience managing large commercial security projects Ability to train and develop field personnel Top Skills Access Control CCTV Alarm Systems Security Systems Installation Field Supervision Low-Voltage Systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
