Job Description
We are seeking a traveling Construction Superintendent to join our team. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all on site construction activities of assigned project from start to finish.
- Effective scheduling and monitoring of all aspects of work from start to completion
- Active management of safety, quality, and quantity of work
- Candidate must be proficient in reading blueprints, job scheduling, coordination and supervision of all subcontractors and vendors
- Extensive knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures and techniques.
- Intermediate office administration and computer skills.
- Problem solving skills in relation to construction projects.
- Strong interpersonal communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and tools, and proficiency in skilled construction, maintenance and repair
- Hold safety meetings and enforce safety policy.
- Represent company values and policies.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in commercial construction
- Strong scheduling, planning and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Must be willing to travel nationally
- Procore experience preferred but not required
Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience
