We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate daily operations, solve problems in the field, and keep projects safe, productive, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for heavy civil construction projects Manage projects involving street rehabilitation, concrete paving, flatwork, dirt work, and municipal infrastructure Plan and coordinate daily work, manpower, equipment, and materials Develop and maintain project schedules and look-ahead plans Monitor production, labor, equipment, and material usage Read and understand construction plans, specifications, and project schedules Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and utility companies Conduct job-site inspections and weekly safety meetings Enforce OSHA and Gunter Construction safety requirements Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards Review daily reports, timecards, and production quantities Identify and resolve field issues and scheduling conflicts Coordinate equipment and material deliveries Coach and lead field employees while promoting teamwork and accountability Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Qualifications 5+ years of heavy civil or concrete construction experience 3+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role Experience with street rehabilitation, concrete paving, flatwork, dirt work, and municipal projects Strong leadership and field management skills Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and schedules Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements OSHA 30 Construction certification Working knowledge of MoDOT and KDOT requirements Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
