- We are seeking a Superintendent
- MEP to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on our projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities. The Superintendent
- MEP will ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion. 2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all MEP subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications. 3. Review and approve MEP designs and plans, and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site. 4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure the smooth progress of the project. 5. Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project. 6. Ensure all MEP work complies with all relevant safety and quality standards. 7. Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging issues related to MEP systems. 8. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment. 9. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for MEP systems. 10. Prepare and present reports on the progress of the MEP aspects of the project to senior management.Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on MEP systems. 2. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. 3. Proven experience in managing MEP systems on large-scale construction projects. 4. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines. 5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 6. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of professionals. 7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome challenges and find effective solutions. 8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. 9. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications. 10. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required. 11. A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.A bit about us:
