Job Overview Harbin Construction is a well-established general contractor in Central Kansas looking for the right person to join our team in the field. Now in our 73rd year of building, we are seeking an individual who wants to continue learning, grow in knowledge and leadership, and build something every day that matters. The Superintendent serves as Harbin's primary field leader and is responsible for owning the field execution of the project. As one of Harbin's senior field representatives, the Superintendent coordinates the entire construction operation, including crews, subcontractors, schedule, quality, safety, and day-to-day jobsite activity. Strong commercial construction experience and industry knowledge are required. Candidates should demonstrate sound construction knowledge, scheduling ability, leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and good field judgment. Experience Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent overseeing commercial projects Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools for project tracking and estimating. Demonstrated ability in managing teams; supervising multiple crews; coordinating schedules; reviewing technical drawings; interpreting schematics; supervising safety protocols. Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards. OSHA 30 certified. Skilled in managing construction site operations while maintaining high standards of quality control; performing blueprint review; supervising safety compliance measures effectively. Excellent communication skills necessary for managing diverse teams; coordinating with stakeholders; resolving on-site issues swiftly. $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
