Job Description Manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth operations. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly. Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with local building codes. Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and feasibility. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders. Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and adherence to project requirements. Resolve any on-site disputes or challenges effectively. The Successful Applicant A successful Long Island Superintendent should have: Experience with managing construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards. Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members. What's on Offer Annual salary between $130,000 and $150,000. Comprehensive 401(k) retirement plan.
