Salary Range:
$34,500 - $38,500

Full-Time Certification/License Requirements Certification as a Youth Peer Support Specialist (YPSS) through a state-approved training program, or ability to obtain certification prior to hire with agency support Must meet YPSS credential age requirement of 35 years old or younger Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Completion of DBHDID-sanctioned 30-hour Peer Support Specialist training required (training/retraining available through Pathways if needed) Experience Requirements At least one (1) year of managerial or supervisory experience required Qualifying lived experience consistent with Peer Support Specialist regulations Experience with substance use disorder (SUD) and/or mental health (MH) recovery populations preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively within a team environment Duties & Responsibilities Provide Peer Support Services through: Sharing lived experience to support and encourage recovery Advocating for individuals in recovery Assisting consumers with skill-building and resource connection Facilitating community relationships and support systems Leading peer support sessions and mentoring assigned consumers Assisting consumers in developing and achieving recovery goals Manage daily operations of the TAYLRD Drop-In Center during operational hours Provide direct supervision and support to assigned TAYLRD staff Conduct outreach activities and collaborate with community partners and systems of care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements Adhere to all Pathways policies and procedures and applicable regulations, including 908 KAR 2:220 Perform all other duties as assigned Skills & Knowledge Understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care Ability to establish professional boundaries while utilizing lived experience appropriately Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work effectively with youth and young adults in recovery Ability to provide services in compliance with Kentucky regulations and Pathways policies and procedures This is a full time position
